Presentation Guidelines

  • Please note that your lecture/presentation will be accessible from the Virtual Platform during the congress period and 3 months after the congress to all registered participants of APPES 2022.
  • APPES 2022 reserves the right to use the submitted abstracts and presentations at its discretion, which includes uploading them onto its website.
    The aim of this exercise is to provide an opportunity for members’ education and inspire further research efforts in the country.

  • Please follow the Chairperson’s instructions regarding the duration of your presentation.
  • You will be disqualified if you have missed the presentation time or disrupted it due to a poor internet connection.
  • Winners will be announced at the Closing Ceremony on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at 15:45 – 16:15 (KST).
* Details may be subject to change due to the organizational circumstances of the scientific program committee.
   You will be informed of any change as soon as it is made.

On-site Presentation & Live Q&A

  • Presentation Material Format : MS-PowerPoint file
  • As for the aspect of the ratio of the presentation slides, a ratio of 16:9 is recommended.
  • Please use the default fonts such as Times New Roman, Calibri, Verdana, and Arial.
  • We DO NOT recommend using your own laptop for your presentation to avoid computer-projector compatibility problems and save the time needed for changing connections. This Meeting will be held in-person and virtual and broadcast online, so you must use a PC installed on the site for smooth progress.
  • If the presentation file contains video clips or sound effects, presenters are required to bring all necessary files to the site.
  • Deadline for Submission : September 21, 2022

    • Please bring your final presentation materials in a USB to the Preview Room at least 2 hours before your presentation to prepare for an unexpected situation onsite.
    • When previewing your presentation file, please make sure all fonts and images appear as expectedly.
    • After you have finished previewing and making changes to your presentation, please notify staff in a preview room so that they can review and upload your files onto the PCs connected to each session room.
