To enter the Republic of Korea, participants must obtain VISA or K-ETA. Whether to acquire Visa and K-eta depends on the situation of each country and individual, so please check the contents below and apply.
The situation of each country regarding K-ETA can be changed. Please refer to this website.
  • For the visa-waiver countries/regions* and visa-free entry countries/regions should obtain K-ETA approval and do not have to obtain a VISA.
* For some countries, visas are exempted only for diplomatic or official passports, not general passports, which can be found in Appendix. Also, those who hold diplomatic or official passports, request K-ETA exemption through relevant organizations in advance, and receive approval from the Ministry of Justice, will not be required to get a K-ETA. If or do not want to request an exemption, you can apply for K-ETA.
  • For not included in the visa-waiver countries/regions and visa-free entry countries/regions need to obtain VISA and do not have to obtain K-ETA.

- K-ETA(Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) eligible nationals, who wish to enter the Republic of Korea visa-free, must obtain K-ETA approval before boarding the flight or ship. Please keep in mind that the assessment can take more than 72hours depending on the situation. Therefore, please allow sufficient time for your K-ETA approval.
- The K-ETA fee is 10,000KRW, an additional fee of 3% (approximately USD 9~10, additional fee included) and is non-refundable even if the application is denied.
- Please understand that K-ETA is NOT a visa. K-ETA approval does not guarantee admission to the Republic of Korea.
